Webinars and  Podcasts



Virtual Department 


These one-hour virtual meetings take place a few times a year and are for those doing community service and service learning work in their schools. Participants on the calls will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and resources. Participating in these departments is free for CSEE members and a $100 a year for non-members.

  • Maximizing Civic and Academic Outcomes: Understanding What Works in Service Learning:  This paper by lead researcher Shelley Billig et al. on eleven factors of service that influence students' attitudes and actions toward civic engagement.
