Spiritual Directors

There are many titles and variations of your job: Spiritual Director, Chaplain, Clergy, Religious Educator, Teacher of Religion, and more. No matter what your title, the bottom-line is that you are often single-handedly responsible for the spiritual development of the young people within your care.

How CSEE Can Help

For more than 100 years, CSEE has been bringing spiritual directors together to collaborate with colleagues who believe in the importance of spiritual education and share your challenges and goals. CSEE reviews the leading research, programs and curricula so you can:

  • Develop skills and confidence to address important, timely and sensitive issues that affect your students and your organization
  • Learn to confidently deal with difficult issues and act as a role model for ethical character
  • Develop resilient, compassionate, intrinsically motivated young people
  • Learn techniques that "ask the hard questions" in ways that encourage student's growth
