About this Webinar:

While many schools debate the full meaning of sustainability in how they teach and function as a campus, almost all schools agree on the importance of fostering an environmental ethic. This webinar will focus on several schools that have successfully built an ethic of environmental sustainability among students, faculty and staff. We will look at why their efforts have worked and how this ethic can be sustained over time.

Wynn Calder has been sustainability consultant to NAIS since 2003 and chaired the NAIS Institute for Leadership in Sustainability, a summer professional development and training workshop, from 2005 to 2009. He consults with individual schools and organizations ( and co-directs the Association of University Leaders for a Sustainable Future (”
