Target Audience

Parents from pre-K through 8th grade.



This discussion will explore how to build a foundation of strong personal and interpersonal skills in your child. These skills help build the confidence to navigate the personal, social, diverse, and technological challenges they will face in adolescence. Followed by the presentation, there will be time for Q & A.


About the Presenter

Scott Zimmerman is the Director of Social and Emotional Learning at St. Andrew’s School in Austin, Texas. Scott works with a team of teachers and administrators to coordinate and align a K-12 SEL program on two campuses. Prior to St. Andrew’s, Scott was the Coordinator of Student Leadership at The Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas, where he founded the Middle School Leadership Program and both the Middle and High School Mentoring programs.

Brick Church is located at 62 East 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128. Participants can take the 4, 5 or 6 trains to the 86th & Lexington station and walk 7 blocks, or the 6 train to 96th and Lexington and walk 5 blocks.
