About

Monday, April 15
4:00pm-8:00pm

Articulating a Compelling Vision of a Good Man in our Time: What? and Why?

The main purpose of the first day is to articulate visions of what a good man can be in today’s world, focusing on central aspects of a man’s life. The visions are made to avoid the twin foes of education, dogmatism and relativism, being general enough to be meaningful for nearly every man, while being open to the particularities of the lives of individuals. The second goal will be to articulate a robust case for why it is in the life-interest of boys and young men to discipline themselves to grow into such good men.

·       Session 1: A Good Man as a Thriving Man

·       Session 2: A Good Man as an Ethos-Builder

·       Dinner and ongoing discussion
