Spencer and Tanner introduce virtue-based, utilitarian, justice-based, deontological and teleological approaches to ethical decision making, but focus primarily on applying ethics. This text encourages students to participate in debate and open discussion. The course covers several areas of applied ethics: medicine, business, environment, and gender.
