Membership Benefits
Newsletters
CSEE produces three newsletter publications, for educators and parents at our member schools, focused on practical issues and advice as well as updates on the latest research and scholarship.
Online: Articles, Podcasts & More
CSEE's online library houses free articles, podcasts, and more. Member schools login to receive access to these materials.
Conferences, Workshops, and Webinars
CSEE offers regular opportunities for staff at our member schools to train with some of the nation’s finest experts on teaching ethics and religion, spiritual development, moral development, and character education at reduced rates. Participants often go on to form lasting peer networks – exchanging ideas, resources and curricular support.
Resources
CSEE offers a range of resources, including handbooks, classroom materials, and articles related to moral and spiritual development, as well as reviews of, and links to, books, textbooks, websites, and other helpful material. Member schools receive discounts on all materials in the library, as well as complimentary copies of new material published by CSEE.
Community Hub (Ning)
CSEE Members are invited to join our online discussion forums: great for asking questions, getting ideas for a class, and making connections with other educators at independent schools. Current discussion groups include: Ethical Leadership Development, Advisory, Character Ed / Moral Ed, Religion Teachers, Chaplains, and more. To sign up, visit our Ning.
Consultations
CSEE offers consultation services to help our member schools deal effectively and sensitively with a wide variety of school related programs and concerns.
Awards and Recognition
CSEE member schools are occasionally invited to submit proposals for programmatic initiatives, or examples of work they are already doing, for support and recognition through our annual awards. CSEE helps award winning schools document the work they are doing so that other schools may learn from them.
