Webinar: Developing Students as Ethical Leaders
repeats February 9, 2011 (3:30pm Central)
Wednesday, December 8th, 3:30pm Eastern Time
This event will be offered again on February 9th, 2011 at 3:30pm Central Time.
Schools with effective programs for developing leaders weave leadership throughout a student's career. Such programs include academic discussion of leadership, along with work on an ethical school climate and ample opportunities for students to practice leadership skills. This 45-minute webinar will address nine key practices that seem to be essential in a good program--from administrative support, to integration into the curriculum, to evaluation and fine tuning. Examples from a variety of schools will be included. Good leadership can be done in any school, and is being done in a number of excellent schools in the United States and Canada.
