Building a Successful Program

Is your school looking to enhance its advisory program? Or perhaps working to start a new program from scratch? Barb Ackerman assists schools in their efforts to create and fine-tune programs so that they're meaningful for students and the school community. Ackerman offers strategies from how to work with students in groups and one-on-one, to getting buy-in from faculty. Advisors will leave with materials, insights, and methods to be successful.

Area and Accommodations

Saint Margaret's Episcopal School is located 20 minutes from the John Wayne Airport. Downtown San Juan Capistrano is within walking distance of the school (10 minutes), and hotels are also nearby.

Doubletree Doheny Beach at Dana Point is a 5-10 minute drive from campus
