Honor Codes & Councils

From Nuts and Bolts to a Finely-Tuned System

Harker School, San Jose, CA
Friday, Feb. 18th, 3:30pm - Sunday, Feb. 20th, noon

Join long-time CSEE presenter Dr. John Roberts, and independent school groups from around the country, to discuss topics of honor, as well as how to implement your school's program and achieve "buy in" from the student body. Dr. Roberts will also address how to deal with infractions, from initial report to dispensation. Ample time will be given for guided group discussion– an excellent opportunity to discuss similar honor system issues with peers, share ideas, and troubleshoot individual issues.

This year's event also includes a special presentation from The Stanford Judicial Outreach Committee. Participants will hear from a few students on the Stanford Judicial Committee, and from the Assistant Dean of Student Life, on how the honor system works at the collegiate level.

Participants will have Saturday evening free. Harker School is working on arranging a bus to take interested participants into San Francisco for dinner Saturday night.
