About the topic:

What does the latest research say about our students' religious identities and spiritual needs? The answer may surprise you, and yet schools must be prepared and teachers willing to meet those needs, especially during times of crisis. All independent schools, whether church-affiliated or not, should be concerned about what their students are doing with their spiritual questions. This webinar will offer some insight into what teenagers are saying about God, what they need in times of crisis, and how schools and teachers can be prepared.

The Rev. Aaron Twitchell is a Chaplain at the Pennington School in New Jersey. Aaron is a clinically trained, interfaith chaplain (College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy).

Logistics:

Twenty-four hours before the webinar is scheduled, a link for logging in will be emailed to you. You will be able to sign in approximately 20 minutes before the webinar begins (we recommend signing in at least a few minutes early, to make sure everything is working properly on your computer). When the presentation begins, expect to see slides and hear a presenter talking. Participant microphones will be turned off during the presentation, but participants are welcome to type in questions in the Q&A box. Questions can also be submitted before the webinar begins to info@csee.org.

A note on technology:

CSEE webinars are hosted by Zoom. Upon your first Zoom meeting, you may be prompted to download the software, which is a very quick process.
