About this Webinar:

In recent decades a number of schools have expanded their traditional health curricula to encompass a wider and more positive view, often referred to as “wellness.” Wellness, in turn, is often used as a synonym of “well-being.” But the early years of the 21st century have brought to people’s attention a concept of well-being that concerns both full intellectual and social functioning, and the kind of happiness human beings deeply aspire to. This webinar will outline what the current conception of well-being is, and why it is important for educators to be aware of its possibilities.

Logistics:

Twenty-four hours before the webinar is scheduled, a link, login and password will be emailed to you. You will be able to sign in approximately 30 minutes before the webinar begins (we recommend signing in at least a few minutes early, to make sure everything is working properly on your computer). When the presentation begins, expect to see slides and hear a presenter talking. Participant microphones will be turned off during the presentation, but will be turned on for Q & A. Participants are also welcome to type in questions if they do not have a mic.
