In this webinar, one of the most respected leadership trainers in the independent school world, Martin Stegemoeller, will share how St. Martin's Episcopal School is overhauling their English 10, to make it a curriculuar home for their leadership program. Learn about a model program, and get ideas for how to intentionally foster leadership at your school.
Presenter Martin Stegemoeller is a Leadership and Ethics Program Leader at St. Mark's School of Texas, where he also holds the Brachman Master Teaching Chair in English, and is faculty sponsor to the Discipline Council, the Telos Society, Philosophy Club and The Blue Guitar. Utilizing classes, clubs, advisories, class meetings, visiting speakers, summer institutes, travel to national conferences, and in-house curricula, St. Mark's Leadership and Ethics Program works across divisions and grade levels to teach and encourage all members of its community to cultivate the habits of skillful, entrepreneurial, sustainable leadership through service.
Twenty-four hours before the webinar is scheduled, a link, login and password will be emailed to you. You will be able to sign in approximately 20 minutes before the webinar begins (we recommend signing in at least a few minutes early, to make sure everything is working properly on your computer). When the presentation begins, expect to see slides and hear a presenter talking. Participant microphones will be turned off during the presentation, but participants are welcome to type in questions in the Q&A box.
A note on technology:
CSEE webinars are hosted by Zoom. Upon your first Zoom meeting, you may be prompted to download the software, which is a very quick process.
