About the topic:
The Bhagavad Gita is the most well known and well read of all Hindu scriptures. Translated to “The Lord’s Song,” The Bhagavad Gita is a deeply philosophical and soulful conversation between two characters: Krishna, representing the Divine, and Arjuna, representing the human ego. This conversation takes place at a crucial point in the narrative plot of the world’s longest epic poem, The Mahabharata.
This webinar will address
- the central teachings of The Bhagavad Gita
- the connections that can be made between The Bhagavad Gita and contemporary Hindu philosophy and practice
- how teachers can best draw upon this remarkable text
