About the topic:

Too many schools enroll good kids and hope leadership will develop from their very presence in the school. Much more can, and should happen, when schools decide to be intentional about training students. In this webinar one of the most respected leadership trainers in the independent school world will offer practical suggestions for working with students to nurture the kind of leaders we all hope to develop.

Presenter Martin Stegemoeller is a Leadership and Ethics Program Leader at St. Mark's School of Texas, where he also holds the Brachman Master Teaching Chair in English, and is faculty sponsor to the Discipline Council, the Telos Society, Philosophy Club and The Blue Guitar. Utilizing classes, clubs, advisories, class meetings, visiting speakers, summer institutes, travel to national conferences, and in-house curricula, St. Mark's Leadership and Ethics Program works across divisions and grade levels to teach and encourage all members of its community to cultivate the habits of skillful, entrepreneurial, sustainable leadership through service.

Logistics:

Twenty-four hours before the webinar is scheduled, a link, login and password will be emailed to you. You will be able to sign in approximately 30 minutes before the webinar begins (we recommend signing in at least a few minutes early, to make sure everything is working properly on your computer). When the presentation begins, expect to see slides and hear a presenter talking. Participant microphones will be turned off during the presentation, but will be turned on for Q & A. Participants are also welcome to type in questions if they do not have a mic.
